Self-description.
My hands almost always have been battered: ate small nails and blood, now, stay with calluses suitable for the office of the sculpture.
I went to art school with curiosity and not random leave it to learning to cast, carve, shape and make a title that would serve me to get a scholarship and travel to Carrara. I have not yet arrived in Italy, I adopted Mexico as second home to marry a Yaqui and ended up carving two children.
I changed diapers without ever leaving the dynamics of the workshop: I used the dining room, kitchen to reach the rooftop, privileged to work with ceramic powders, cement and sand.
Carved stone, wood, snow and modeled figures in bronze and resin.
In 1985, the year of the earthquake, I discovered a fascination with disaster, especially in the aspect that made the time when the earth regenerates.
The impact was lasting and near vision of destruction, created a vital impulse that defined an aesthetic and a way of seeing the world.
Over time, the idea remains, the silence of stillness and neglect continues. In these ruins life springs.

The ceramic then entered these buildings, in a visceral, hard cement gave a heart, a soul that summarizes the human organic.
lang = "ES-MX"> Living in this great city cluttered, messy and noisy, I was full of dreams and portents of horror and beauty. I constantly refer to a past, a culture about which you are building this city, this country (which welcomes me 30 years ago) and a global future of cities comparable to Shanghai, Brasilia, United Arab Emirates ...
